NA Standing Committee Debates in Second Reading Addendum Proposed to Law on Compulsory Enforcement of Judicial Acts

On November 17, at the extraordinary sitting, the NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs debated in the second reading the draft law on Making Addendum to the Law on Compulsory Enforcement of Judicial Acts authored by the Government. It is proposed to give an opportunity to the compulsory enforcement service not to charge enforcement costs in case of terminating the initiated enforcement proceedings related to a spouse, child, parent, grandmother, grandfather, sister or brother of a person who has died, acquired disability, is missing or has recognized as dead because of participating in the military operations of the RA Defense, carrying out the combat duty or special task on the line of contact with the enemy, or as a result of the enemy’s offensive operation.

The RA Deputy Minister of Justice Yeranuhi Tumanyants noted that after the first reading, the draft law was not revised, proposals were not submitted.

Highlighting the adoption of the draft law, the co-rapporteur Artur Davtyan called on to vote in favour.
